Suicide.org Begins Producing Videos
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2009) – Suicide.org, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, has commenced producing videos in order to reach more people, prevent more suicides, support more suicide survivors, honor more people who have died by suicide, and educate more people about suicide.
“Suicide.org is constantly striving to reach and assist as many people as possible,” said Kevin Caruso, the Executive Director of Suicide.org. “Producing videos is one more avenue for us to realize that objective.”
Brandi Hawkins, a suicide survivor and Super Moderator in the Suicide.org forum, has been appointed as Video Production Manager. “Brandi has been involved with video production for many years and has an amazing ability to adeptly unite the multitude of elements in the production process. She produces powerful videos,” said Caruso.
Suicide.org also uses a family of advisors, forum members, and general members in the production process. “We are suicide survivors, we are a family, and we are a team,” said Caruso. “We come together as one with everything we do, including video production. Everyone provides their thoughts, ideas, and help.
“We have an extraordinary family at Suicide.org, and we will thus produce extraordinary videos!”
